Nancy I. Stein-McCarthy has represented the insurance industry since graduation from law school in 1996. Ms. Stein-McCarthy has handled both first party and liability claims in all courts of the State. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Miami in 1991 and her Juris Doctorate law degree from Seton Hall University in 1996. While practicing in New Jersey, Ms. Stein-McCarthy represented insurance companies in multi-party complex litigation regarding coverage disputes for environmental cleanup and she participated in one of the most noteworthy trials in the New Jersey/ Pennsylvania region in this area of practice. She also handled small and large loss subrogation claims.

Ms. Stein-McCarthy has extensive appellate court experience, with various published opinions where she was the primary author on the brief.  She has handled oral arguments before the Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal in Florida. She is an active member of The Florida Bar, Appellate Practice Section. Nancy has published articles in reputable trade journals for the American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. Ms. Stein-McCarthy is a member of the Bar Associations of Florida and New Jersey and is licensed to practice in the Federal Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Stein-McCarthy is proficient in the French language having lived in France while studying at the University of Pau. She was born in Livingston, New Jersey and resides in Lake Worth with her two sons.
