Mass Tort, Multi-District Litigation

Firm founder, Steve Schwartz, was part of the original defense team for an insulation materials manufacturer back in the 1970's when the asbestos litigation first arose. Before relocating to Florida, he also worked on the Dalcon Shield mass torts litigation, first in the courts and then before the nationally created claimant fund. More recently from the start of these suits in February 2009 our firm has had a prominent role in the defense of builders and installers of Chinese-manufactured drywall, handling suits in Florida's state and federal courts as well as the consolidated multi-district federal litigation pending in New Orleans.

Our depth of knowledge about the litigation process and the laws governing such products liability claims together with the earned respect from the plaintiffs' bar and other defense firms involved in these mass tort cases enables us to provide a reasoned, cost conscious defense of these claims so that the cost of defending them does not become a runaway train for our insurance clientele.

The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisement. Before you decide, ask the attorney to send you free, written information about qualifications and experience.
